Livin' La Vida Mona!!!!

WHAT a weekend have i had guys!!!! It's been non-stop partying and although i'm feeling the strain of it with a sore throat and mini temperture/headache i'm still smiling :) It's been the BEST weekend EVURRRRR and i can't quite believe how much fun i actually managed to jam-pack into the past 3days! So as i sit here huddled up in my white hoodie and navy pyjama pants with little red hearts on, and a piping hot mug of green jasmine tea let me recount to you all what exactly has been going down...

First off was the big birthday bash at Kapital. Now not only was it Eric's 21st but it was also Kapital's 12th b-day...


Naturally Fabio and I walked in with our invites whilst the rest of Madrid queued up!


Never had i seen so many hot people in Madrid, i was beginning to think that the whole 'Spanish guys are hot" thing was a total myth but luckily there were beautiful people aplenty! Kapital has 7 floors of pure amazing-ness including a funky house room, hip hop room, salsa room, cinema room and a lavishly decorated open air rooftop terrace with drapes and beds.


They also had a live band playing along to the funky house in the main room, i'm totally digging the funky house brazilian jazz vibe!


We didn't get home til 6am so most of Friday was spent sleeping in, (I LOVE that i get a 3day wknd!!!). Me and Dom did a spot of shopping, we managed to find the only Topshop in Madrid and guess what?!? It's CHEAPER here than back home!!!! YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!! :)

On Friday night we went to see The Feeling at Moby Dicks:


For all of you who love the OC as much as i do you'll totally understand me when i say Moby Dicks is basically the Bait Shop so Dom, Alex, Kota and I felt like Marissa, Ryan, Seth and Summer!!!! Loooool! You gots to love it! We were in the front row & the guitarist kept looking over and smiling at Dom, he blatently fancied her!!!! Loves it... The drummer also threw his drumsticks into the crowd at the end of the gig and i had to fight two german girls in an epic battle of rock paper scissors for it!!!! Naturally victory was mine... Muahahahahahaaaaaa! :)


We ended up meeting the band after the show and had a jolly good natter about how great London is and how much we all love it! They were lovely lovely young men and totally awesome in concert! None of this miming business and they all had such amazing energy!!!




For Dinner we went to Foster's Hollywood-bleurgh! Nasty nasty food and the interior was decorated like the inside of an aeroplane... WHY OH WHY?!?!?! As if that alone doesn't make u want to vomit!!! We ended the night with some shisha at La Comedia but I ended up being sick because of the nasty food... It was SO disgusting! :( Wa waaaa...!

Once Saturday morning rolled around i decided it was time to soak up a spot of culture... Me and all my new friends from uni headed over to Toledo for the day. Toledo used to be the capital of Spain and boasts a wealth of history and great architecture.



We had fun walking around all the quaint cobbled streets which according to the tourist booklet are wide enough for one man and his donkey.

It was very cute but by the time i got home i was absolutely shattered!


Since then i've been donning the pj's and taking it easy... Speaking of which it's really time for bed now... Nighty night peeps x x x
